Ski school courses for youth and adults — from basics to perfecting technique
Ski school courses for youth and adults are intended for those aged 13 and older. Courses are available on both skis and snowboards, and are suitable for both first-time skiers and those who have been skiing for several seasons.
Teenagers can come to the course alone or with their parents. Many parents and children have found a common hobby through this.
The age limits are indicative. A 13–14-year-old may be better suited to either the Werneri children's course or the youth and adult course — if in doubt, ask us: hiihdonopetus (at) talmaski.fi | 040-1281419

Freestyle on skis or snowboard
Freestyle courses are not organized as separate group courses this season. A private lesson is often the best way to start — the differences in starting levels in freestyle are large, and in a private lesson, the teaching is focused on your specific skill level. Discover for private lessons.
The club is also active in both freestyle skiing and snowboarding, so it's easy to join in on a regular freestyle hobby. Discover club activities.
Course or private lesson?
The course progresses at the group's pace and exercises are repeated as long as everyone is ready to continue. For many, this is the best way to learn — repetition instills the skill and the group motivates.
If you want to progress completely at your own pace or need guidance on your own technique, a private lesson is a better choice. In a private lesson, the teacher focuses only on you and the teaching is tailored to your needs.
