The most important practical details before booking and arriving for the course.
What is included in the course fee?
Instruction and lift access for the duration of the lesson. Equipment rental is paid separately: a rental equipment package for course participants is €20 / 2 hours / lesson.
Does my child need their own equipment?
You can bring your own gear, or rent an equipment package from the Talma rental shop at the course participant price: €20 for 2 hours. Helmets are mandatory for all courses and private lessons.
When do I need to book the course?
Please book at least 24 hours in advance. You can check schedules, available spots, and course details in our online booking system.
Do parents participate in the lesson?
In Wernerin esikoulu, each child must have one adult present to assist them. For the adult, warm clothing and waterproof shoes/boots are enough (no skis needed). In Lautanaperot, adults are welcome to watch the lesson and support the child. On other courses, adults do not participate.
Are lessons available in other languages?
The language of instruction for the scheduled group courses is Finnish. For instruction in other languages (such as English), please book private lesson or a customized group course.
Would a private lesson be a better choice?
In group courses, we learn at the group’s pace and repeat exercises together. If your child needs individual guidance or wants to progress at their own pace, private lesson is a better option.
